Paper Pottery and Basketry

I have been working inspired by medieval scenarios and history. First I search some medieval names to focus on and give clear direction to my creations. I was amazed by names and meanings. Four of them got my attention and I started working based on them.
The four collection names are : "Cyneburga", "Wilky", "Zuan" and "Amis et Amilis".
Every collection contains a vase/urn, an angel, a holiday ornament, a pair of earrings, a bracelet and a necklace.

Here is the first ( keep coming back , I hope I will be able to post all of them by the end of this coming week)

CYNEBURGA - Royal Fortress.
Medieval anglo-saxon feminine name. Cyne means Royal, burg means fortress. It was the daughter's name of a king of Mercia, who founded an abbey at Gloucester in the 7th century.

WILKY - Warrior, protection .
